Catechetical certification is the formation of adults who are employed in schools and parishes in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Madison, Wisconsin. It offers a comprehensive and systematic formation based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church and aims to draw its participants into deeper communion with Jesus Christ, strengthening them to be more effective witnesses and teachers of the Gospel. Catechetical Certification guidelines in the Diocese of Madison are consistent with the Certification guidelines promulgated by the Wisconsin Catholic Conference.
Primarily located at Holy Name Heights (formerly Bishop O'Connor Center), but our classes are also offered regionally throughout the diocese in order to serve the largest number of students from our 30 pastorates/ parishes.
Though no one will be turned away for an inability to pay, tuition for each course is $20/person.
