A Call to Every CatholicGo Make Disciples is the Diocese of Madison’s evangelization initiative, calling every Catholic to embrace and share the joy of the Gospel. Rooted in Jesus’ command to “go and make disciples of all nations,” this diocesan-wide mission seeks to renew the Church by forming intentional disciples—people who know and follow Jesus and invite others to do the same.
This vision centers on three clear goals: to help individuals encounter Jesus Christ, to equip and accompany them in deepening their relationship with Him, and to send them forth to share their faith within their homes, parishes, and communities.
In parishes, schools, apostolates, and households across the Diocese, we are working together to build a culture of evangelization—one that is joyful, invitational, and rooted in prayer. Whether you're just beginning your faith journey or already active in your parish, Go Make Disciples invites you to take the next step in following Christ and helping others do the same.

How Does It Work?

Evangelization Team
Every pastor forms an Evangelization Team to help him in fulfilling the mission of Go Make Disciples.

Parish Evangelization Plan
Every Parish formulates an individual Parish Evangelization Plan built around the specific goals of Go Make Disciples: forming leadership, seeking holiness, and preaching the Gospel.

Annual Review and Revision
After implementing the Parish Evangelization Plan, with the assistance of the evangelization team, each parish meets with Bishop Hying to review the previous year and discuss how the plan will change for the coming year.

Diocesan Support
Diocesan staff members are assigned to every parish to support and assist in the formulation, implementation, review, and revision of Parish Evangelization Plans.

Bishop Hying is traveling the Diocese of Madison this spring to preach kerygmatic missions, helping people rediscover the life-changing message of the Gospel.
