Parish Stewardship, Offertory, and Collection Resources
Parish Stewardship, Offertory, and Collection Resources
Stewardship is a vital expression of gratitude and faith – a way for parish communities to respond generously to the many gifts God has given. The Office of Stewardship and Development supports parishes in cultivating this spirit through practical tools, formation resources, and coordinated giving initiatives.
This page brings together resources for Parish Stewardship, the Parish Offertory Program, and Diocesan and National Collections. Parish Stewardship materials assist in annual renewals of time, talent, and treasure, helping parishioners discern and share their gifts in service to the Church. The Offertory Program provides strategies and templates for strengthening weekly giving and promoting year-round generosity.
Resources for special collections — including the National Combined Collection, Catholic Schools Collection, Respect Life Collection, International Combined Collection, and Bless Our Priests Collection — are also available here to assist parishes in running effective and compliant appeals.
Together, these efforts support the mission of the Church in southern Wisconsin and beyond, ensuring the vitality of parish life and the ministries that depend on it.
TheStewardship Offertory Program is designed to assist parishes wanting to increase their weekly offertory and enhance their year-round stewardship efforts. TheDiocese of Madison wants to be proactive and provide education on the Church’s teaching on stewardship. We are all called to be good stewards and need to reflect on all that we have is from God. What are we doing with those gifts? This message will help individuals reflect and discern on those gifts and what is each person doing with them. The Diocese of Madison wants to help the parishes successfully conduct, annually, stewardship renewals of time and talent to encourage parishioners to share their gifts’ as a faith response to meet the ministry needs of the parish and local community. This also includes, annually, a stewardship treasure renewal for parishioners to share their material gifts as a faith response for the support of parish ministries.
